It was a pleasure being a guest on the YouTube livestream hosted by Steve Schwartz of LSAT Unplugged this morning – the day that January 2026 LSAT scores are being released!
It was lovely to share my insights in JD admissions from my time as part of the JD admissions offices at Harvard Law School and NYU School of Law! We hosted questions and had a conversation involving latest developments in JD admissions, including:
- Do’s and don’ts – including why it is important to be honest and truthful in the application process and whether to use AI
- Self-awareness and research are key in deciding whether to go to law school as it is a huge investment
- Those optional essays aren’t always optional
- Trends this cycle in terms of volume and timing of hearing back
My portion of the livestream begins around the 1:11:30 mark and lasts about 25 minutes.
I really appreciate this opportunity and always enjoy our collaborations which have dated back since 2019! I have worked full-time in admissions consulting since 2017, and I started my own company in 2021. With my expertise gained from working in several top admissions offices, I have guided many clients to successfully navigate being admitted to law school!
