I cannot believe it …..Thank you so much for all of the help along the way. This is such a dream come true! (on being admitted to first choice in Early Decision process)

I would like to deliver my appreciation to you for all your support! Once again, thanks for everything you did…. By looking back to the past years, it has been a wonderful journey that we all spent together….Too many things that I can recall….leading my son to the business field which fits him….getting into his dream school….Can’t say anything but thanks….all my appreciation! ~Parent

You’ve been so nice, professional, and supportive. I have really enjoyed working with you, and I’m very grateful for all of your help and guidance over the past two years!! You’ve helped me so much, and I couldn’t have been happier with the final results!! I hope you can have a good summer, and I hope I’ll be able to see you in person again if there’s a chance!

Grateful, confident, and joyful. Those are the words that best describe how we feel about the guidance we got from Renaissance, and the decision my daughter made in her choice of college after working with Renaissance. My wife and I are professionals with post-graduate degrees, and thought we knew everything we could possibly need to know about the undergraduate application and admission process our daughter would have to deal with. That may have been true 35 years ago, but the plain truth is that things are very different today, and that our “experience” was just yesterday’s news. Christina and her team not only had a clear impact on how we approached the application and admission process, but also helped us with what we considered to be the most important component of the ultimate decision-making process: finding a school that was the right “fit” for our daughter. Where this critical consideration was involved, Christina and her team brought to the table practical and insightful guidance on a school-by-school basis. And, they were able to do this not just from discussions with us as parents, but from getting to know our daughter. They took the time to help us get it right. We are so very happy with our daughter’s undergraduate placement and know that it was only through the guidance we got from Renaissance that this dream placement – a source of pride and joy – became a reality. With gratitude, confidence, and joy – Thank you!

I would not have been able to attend my dream school on a full ride without Christina’s help. I thought it would be impossible for me to even get into a top college when competing with other talented students. However, Christina gave me motivation and provided me with guidance every step I took, resulting in my acceptance to an Ivy League school. With Christina’s encouragement, I discovered strengths within myself that I never knew existed. Her dedication to helping students like me reach their potential is truly amazing. With great knowledge of the admission process, Christina helped me brainstorm essays by making me reflect on my extracurriculars and selecting a perfect topic that strongly connected to my background and the work I am doing. Not only did she help me find extracurriculars that I could engage with to better connect with my interests, but she also guided me in choosing the right extracurricular activities to include on the activity list and highlighting what I wanted to do in the future. While preparing for my standardized tests, Christina provided me with a wealth of resources to assist me. Even though my scores were not significantly high compared to other top applicants, Christina instilled confidence in me by focusing on perfecting other aspects of the application, such as the personal statement and supplemental essays. If you are a high-achieving student, I definitely recommend using the service provided by Christina. She will help you create a solid story by weaving all the extracurriculars together with your background. To me, Christina wasn’t just a mentor, but a friend who will always be there to offer guidance whenever I need it. She gave me the confidence I needed and helped me stand out during the college admission process. Thanks for being part of this journey and all your support.

Christina was a huge help in my dental school admissions journey. Prior to working with her, I had applied to many dental schools and hadn’t received a single interview. However, once I had Christina on my side [and reapplied the next cycle with her help], I was able to interview at multiple programs around the country and have options in where I would attend. She was extremely thorough in her review of my application essays and checked in on me regularly while I was nervously waiting for interviews. I genuinely believe I would not be in the program I am today without her help. I would recommend her to any of my friends and am confident she would help anyone have a more successful and enjoyable application process.

I faced a difficult path, being a non-traditional student with a GPA below the accepted student average, and I had doubts about my ability to earn an acceptance. Meeting Christina, she provided an honest and comprehensive evaluation of my application, helping me plan my way forward.
The importance of having a qualified reader to critique my essay and provide expert feedback on my application could not be overemphasized. Christina was able to help me showcase my important achievements, with a focus on what dental schools would find most compelling about me. She helped me turn my long-winded narrative into a concise and crisp essay that outlined my dream to the schools I wanted to attend.
As a result, I was accepted to two of my top three choices, and am now attending dental school!

Christina, it was such a pleasure working with you. You went above and beyond and really helped me not only with my essays and creating a law school list, but also with managing my nerves. Thank you for answering all of my questions and for always reassuring me along the way. I truly believe that I got the outcome that I did because of your help!

Christina played a very important role in my application process because she is a professional, optimistic and responsible person.
1. Professionalism. Christina personally helped me revise my personal statement, resume and other documents. Her language is concise and professional, and she understands my personality and experience, so she will focus on highlighting parts in my personal statement to make my content more attractive and fit my personal characteristics. Even though I tried to put all my experiences as much as possible at the beginning, she knew what was important and what was irrelevant, which made my personal statement more personal. Also, in my resume, she included all my experiences by categorizing them very well, but presented them clearly and comprehensively, which was very important.
2. Optimistic personality. Christina is an optimistic and cheerful person, which made every communication with her very smooth. Because of her optimism, I quickly trusted her and became friends with her. In every communication, I had no worries, so I was very willing to tell her all my thoughts and discuss them with her. I think this is very important in counseling services, because trust is always the cornerstone of success.
3. Responsibility. Christina is a very time-conscious person; emails will always be replied to in a timely manner, and each revision you can feel that she is very serious about it. She also takes the initiative to remind you of the deadlines and complete them in a timely manner, which made my whole application process very reassuring because she is a very responsible person, and I am very grateful for that.
All in all, with Christina’s help, I am very satisfied with my whole application process. It was very efficient and smooth. I also got the result I wanted.

As the first person in my family applying to graduate school, and more specifically law school, I had no idea where to begin and how to cultivate the seemingly “perfect” law school application that would make me stand out in a sea of strong applicants. The law school application process seemed like an insurmountable mountain that I needed to climb to achieve my dreams of becoming a lawyer. I knew I had to take the LSAT, but I had no idea which schools would align with my interests, what the “inside scoop” was on all the schools, or even how the application process worked. I was extremely lucky to have found Christina, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her. As someone who is extremely driven, it was so wonderful to work with Christina who is so passionate about her work to the point where your dreams and goals become hers. She kept me organized, motivated, and focused. Christina asked thought-provoking questions that helped me craft a unique story about my personal and academic background. She guided me through creating my school list, requesting recommendation letters, refining my resume, editing my personal statement and supplemental essays, and interviewing for law schools. Christina believed in me throughout the entire process. She was with me every step of the way, and I am forever grateful. I am attending my first choice of Columbia Law School, and I owe so much of my success to Christina. It is because of her that I was able to achieve my dream, and I cannot thank her enough.

I was completely unfamiliar with US graduate school applications before I met Christina. She was ever so patient with me. First, she elicited information from me on the schools I wanted to attend, and advised me on their admissions requirements. She reviewed each of my essays and gave me detailed feedback every week. When I implemented her feedback, she would further assist with repositioning the work in line with US writing style. We met via Zoom to discuss my personal statement and essays. I did not know how to best tell my stories; however, she helped organize the string of my thoughts and thoroughly advised me on how to make cogent statements from them. She proactively engaged me on the various positions I had held, and fine-tuned them so perfectly into my CV, assisting with editing it over and over. She also gave me invaluable advice for my recommendations, particularly when one of my recommenders was not able to complete their letter close to the deadline. She managed the situation and advised me with arranging for a suitable substitute immediately. Her special knowledge as a former admissions officer was extremely useful to me, as she exposed me to the very salient points for a winning application that I never knew. After sending my applications, she regularly reached out to me, helping to manage my anxieties and exposing me to resources in preparing for my academic program. I received offers from several top schools, with scholarships at each of them, as follows: Columbia Law School with a substantial scholarship; NYU School of Law with full tuition scholarship; University of Oxford Faculty of Law with full tuition scholarship; and University of Cambridge Faculty of Law with full tuition scholarship. Christina helped me tremendously with navigating a complex admissions process and deciding on where to attend. She got me results each time I implemented her advice. I am still very much shocked with these offers, and cannot thank Christina enough for her guidance each step of the way. I strongly recommend Renaissance Admissions Consulting!

I cannot recommend Christina enough – she was truly an amazing guide through the law school admissions process and made the experience feel calm, grounded, and aligned. I found Christina in the fall before my law school admissions cycle – I was hearing so much opposing advice regarding the process from different people, and many of the people I consulted were unhelpful or completely dismissive of my approach to the process. I was conflicted on everything from where to apply to what to write for my personal statement, and was deeply stressed. What I loved about Christina was that she gave insights and best practices based on her experience, but she was also ultimately respectful and understanding of my decisions. She is level-headed and gives realistic expectations while also being supportive and optimistic. She was also extremely dedicated to the process – she always responded quickly and thoughtfully. I started working with Christina later in the cycle than ideal, but with her help I submitted polished, highly-edited applications. I was a bit of an untraditional law school applicant in the sense that I ultimately decided only to apply to schools in New York City, which goes against much of the advice that law school hopefuls often hear. While this limited my options, Christina helped me to create the strongest application I could, and informed me of the implications of my decision without judging me or putting me down (as others did). I wrote my personal statement on a subject that was deeply personal to me, which I do not think I would have done had I been working with anyone else. Christina was incredibly sensitive to my life experiences, and both drew out the narratives which would make my application stronger and turned a sharp eye to the editing process. Ultimately, my finished application was much stronger than something I would have completed on my own. Christina’s eye on each iteration of the application was a huge relief as I submitted my applications. Throughout the process, I stayed true to myself and my priorities, which was only possible because Christina helped me to drown out the noise that surrounded the process. I am very excited to be attending Fordham Law with a scholarship I did not even dream about at the beginning of the process, and I have Christina to thank for a very calm and rewarding application process. I would highly recommend her to anyone entering a law school admissions cycle!

I reserve the greatest measure of gratitude to Christina Chong, founder of Renaissance
Admissions Consulting. Renaissance Admissions Consulting is a highly professional and effective consulting firm that I had the pleasure of working with during my law school application process. Christina’s erudite counsel and sagacious advice were instrumental in shaping my application into a compelling and persuasive document. I was struck by her perspicacity and ability to discern the strengths and weaknesses of my application with such acuity. Her attention to the slightest detail and scrutiny of my writing elevated my personal statement. Christina took the time to understand my personal and professional aspirations and helped me to articulate them in a way that resonated with the admissions committee of the law schools to which I applied. Her magnanimity in sharing her own experiences working at NYU School of Law and Harvard Law School added a dimension of wisdom and profundity to our collaboration that I will forever cherish. Christina was a true consummate professional and was extremely invested in my success. From the moment I first contacted Renaissance Admissions Consulting, I was impressed with their level of professionalism and expertise; it was undoubtedly clear that the company was committed to helping one achieve their goals of attending law school. Christina was warm and welcoming, and she took the time to understand my background, interests, and career goals. Her dedication to listening to my ideas and offering good advice was evident in every interaction I had with her. She was able to provide me with sound advice and guidance that helped me to focus my application and present myself in the best possible way. In addition to her impressive credentials and expertise, Christina was very invested in my application and was dedicated to seeing it through to the end. What stood out to me most about Christina’s approach was how grounded it was in respect, compassion, and honesty. She took the time to delve into my background and have me engage in writing exercises to eventually create a personal statement that blossomed into 15 pages that she later cut down to two pages, which beautifully captured the essential parts of my story to law schools. Her honesty and transparency were also key components of her approach, as she provided me with clear and candid feedback. She was always available to answer my questions and provide feedback on my essays and other application materials. She was also very responsive to my emails and phone calls, which made the entire process much less stressful. One of the things that I appreciated most about Renaissance Admissions Consulting was their focus on providing personalized attention to my application. Christina took the time to get to know me and understand my unique strengths and weaknesses, and she was able to use that knowledge to help me craft a compelling application that highlighted my strengths and minimized any potential weaknesses. Christina was always willing to go the extra mile to help me succeed, whether that meant reviewing my application materials multiple times or providing me with additional resources and advice that helped me to improve my application. Thanks to the expert guidance and support of Renaissance Admissions Consulting, I was able to achieve my dream of being admitted to Columbia Law School, as well as several other top law schools. I am confident that I would not have been able to achieve this level of success without the help of Christina and her team. Overall, I would highly recommend Renaissance Admissions Consulting to anyone who is looking for a highly professional and effective consulting firm that is dedicated to helping its clients achieve their goals. I am grateful for all of the help and guidance that Christina provided me during my law school application process. If you are looking for a consulting firm that will provide you with personalized attention, expert guidance, and a commitment to your success, then Renaissance Admissions Consulting is the perfect choice.

Renaissance Admissions Consulting was an absolute pleasure to work with. Christina is an admissions insider who helped formulate a top-notch strategy beginning with brainstorming essay ideas and ending with scholarship negotiation and waitlist strategy. Getting a full ride to a top 20 school would have been impossible without Christina’s insights and strategy into the ever-changing law school admissions process. Christina was always available to answer my questions and had a knack for calming my nerves during the stressful process. Having many years of work experience before I applied to law school, Christina helped me highlight those experiences best in my personal statement. Experiences that I believed would not be important to an admissions officer ended up becoming pivotal parts to my essays. I would have never thought or known these things would be important if it weren’t for Christina’s inside knowledge. She is truly amazing to work with – I could not have done it without her!

Christina was instrumental in my success as a law school applicant. As a first-generation law student, the whole process was very daunting – I did not know where to start or what schools would be looking for in a candidate. I was referred to Christina by a friend of a friend, and after our initial consultation, I felt that her services were truly different from those of other companies I had looked at. While other companies and consultants seemed to have this “one-size-fits-all” approach, Christina’s guidance was individualized. As someone who was applying straight from undergrad, I had little work experience compared to most and had just recently decided to pursue law school. I was nervous about crafting a personal statement that effectively showed my path to law, but Christina helped me uncover the root of my passion and articulate it eloquently. She came back with rounds of edits typically the same day, and we would communicate back and forth about new ideas/comments until we perfected the drafts. Christina then went the extra mile by reviewing the application PDFs to make sure there were no mistakes. Unlike other companies, Christina did not stop after applications were submitted – she was there by my side throughout the process. Whether it was picking up a call when I was anxiously waiting for decisions, helping me write letters of continued interest, or preparing me for interviews, I knew I could count on her. Thanks to her guidance, I am now about to attend my dream T14 school. I cannot recommend Christina enough to anyone applying to law school – I genuinely could not have done the process without her!

Christina’s insights, encouragement, and advice were invaluable to my law school application experience. I was accepted to UC Berkeley Law; her help with brainstorming essay ideas and improving my writing was undoubtedly one of the reasons I got in. She was always punctual for meetings and essay edits, and one of the most detail-oriented people I have ever worked with. Christina made sure I submitted items in a timely manner and made excellent recommendations on when to submit letters of continued interest. Any prospective law student would be lucky and fulfilled to have her assistance. I did not think of Christina as merely a law school consultant, but also a friend, who continuously encouraged me to show up for and push myself while keeping in mind my end goal. The way she assisted with my application was sharp, but not overbearing; she knows what law schools want to see and understands that every applicant is different. In particular, as a first-generation professional and international student, I was guided through the process by her in a very personalized manner that I would not have gotten elsewhere. I would recommend Christina’s services to anyone who is serious enough to put in the work and truly wants to attend law school.
